Making Research Discovery Fast
Every day, hundreds of research papers are published. PaperSwipe helps you find the ones that matter to you.
The Problem
As a PhD researcher in AI and Machine Learning at WASP (Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program), I spend countless hours trying to stay current with the latest research. Every morning, dozens of new papers are published in my field. Reading through all the abstracts, trying to determine what's relevant, what's groundbreaking, and what I should save for later—it's exhausting.
I realized every researcher faces the same challenge: how to stay current without drowning in papers. We needed a better way.
The Solution
PaperSwipe was born from this frustration. I wanted to apply the same AI technology I research every day to solve a problem I face every day. The idea is simple: what if discovering research papers could be as easy as swiping through a deck of cards?
Inspired by the three-pass method for reading papers, PaperSwipe makes that first pass instant. Swipe right on what interests you, left on what doesn't. Build your personal collection, organize papers into projects, and let AI learn what you care about.
First Pass
Deck: Swipe through papers in seconds. Get a quick overview and decide what's worth deeper investigation.
Second Pass
Today's Hot: Review papers you liked with more attention. Dive into abstracts and PDFs.
Third Pass
Projects: Organize papers that deserve deep study. Build your research library.
About the Creator

Karol Wojtulewicz
PhD Researcher @ WASP
Linköping University, Sweden
I'm a PhD researcher in the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), based at Linköping University in Sweden. My research focuses on AI and Machine Learning, particularly computer vision and neural networks for real-world applications.
With a background in developing segmentation networks for large-scale data classification, I'm passionate about applying AI to solve practical problems—whether that's in computer vision or helping researchers navigate the ever-growing sea of academic papers.
Our Mission
Research should be about discovery and insight, not endless scrolling. We're building tools that help researchers spend less time searching and more time thinking.
What's Next
PaperSwipe is just getting started. We're constantly improving our AI recommendations, adding new features for collaboration, and building tools to make research discovery even better. This is a tool built by researchers, for researchers—and we're excited to have you along for the journey.
